Little scientist (2015)

Gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Klassen aus Europa – einer 2. Klasse der Langleypark Primary School im Nordosten Englands und der 2. Klasse der École élémentaire Saint Maclou aus der Normandie in Frankreich, führen die Kinder einer 1. Klasse der St. Marien-Schule dieses Projekt durch.

Von Februar 2015 bis zu den Sommerferien führte jede Partnerklasse monatlich ein kleines Experiment durch, präsentiert dies den Partnern … Selbst in einer Videokonferenz wurde gemeinsam experimentiert

Dieses Projekt wurde mit einem nationalem Qualitätssiegel ausgezeichnet.

Ein Auszug aus der Projektbeschreibung (Englisch):

Enthusiasm, curiosity and interest is the essential key to a positive approach to learning and thus also to science, mathematics and technology. As children are usually enthusiastic to experiments, we want to use this to develop an understanding of basic scientific contexts. Each month during the project each class will carry out an experiment, formulate expectations and assumptions, and subsequently verify by practical experimentation. Results will be documented and shared with partner schools.
Teachers will cooperate closely and communicate through email, chat and twinspace. But also pupils will communicate: by snail mail and videoconferences (e.g.). Teachers will help to overcome the language barrier.
